WHAT IS IYPT ?

The IYPT stands for the International Young Physicists’ Tournament.

It’s a prestigious global competition where high school students work in teams to research, experiment, and debate complex physics problems.

REGISTRATION FEES

Early Fee

Regular Fee
(after Apr 15)
New Teams* or Host Teams** 2 400 EUR 2 700 EUR
Other Teams 3 100 EUR 3 400 EUR

* A New Team is a team that has participated no more than once in the IYPT in the past 3 years.
** A Host Team is a team that has organized the IYPT within the past 25 years or is scheduled to host it within the next 3 years.

 

OTHER FEES

Visitor Fee: 1 600 EUR

First-Time Juror Fee: 500 EUR

 

NEXT DEADLINES

Juror Applications for IYPT 2026 Are Now Open

Applications for jurors for IYPT 2026 are now open. Both experienced and first-time jurors are invited to apply. Eligible first-time jurors who previously participated in IYPT may request a fee waiver and travel support.

The application deadline is 28 February 2026.
