Overview
The 13th IYPT, hosted in Budapest, Hungary, continued the refined structure introduced in the late 1990s, adhering to the IYPT regulations finalized in Stuttgart (October 1997). The tournament featured robust international participation with 17 teams from 16 countries. The Final took place on July 14, 2000. Interpretation was informally supported by multilingual jurors. Overhead transparencies remained the standard presentation format, though VGA projectors were sporadically available.
